After having #4 injector replaced and going a few thousand miles, another injector failure. The Asheboro Ford mechanic said he had to order the part. I told him I needed the truck to go hours away for about 3 months. He said it would be ok and when I got back, he would have the part waiting. Another injector failed but drove ok but I called Ford to tell him to order another injector. Meanwhile a hose clamp that Ford put in the wrong place punctured my top water hose. The Ford dealer where I was said I had 3 bad injector codes. I called Asheboro Ford so the could order that too. When I got back that mechanic was out and I made an appointment for a week later. At that appointment he informed me my warrantee expired 2 weeks prior. I got mad and took it to a local mechanic that had a good reputation. He said he moved the injectors around and all were good that something else gave the code. After checking for a week, he said the cause was a worn camshaft and he replaced that. All has been well so far.
