While driving at various speeds receive low fuel pressure / reduced engine power warning. Truck enters "limp home home" almost immediately. Reduced power at highway speed puts driver/passengers in harm as one can't maintain sufficient speed to safely exit the highway. Ford was unable to determine root cause on four occasions. On final occurrence dealer states Ford corporate wants to dismantle fuel system to determine if fuel contamination is present. Further states if contamination is found repair and dismantle are outside of warranty and owners responsibility. Issue began with 10K miles on the vehicle final incident occurred at 18K miles. Traded for another brand out of concern for personal safety. Fords lack of concern and blatant attempt to pass the blame to consumers and fuel suppliers has lost them a customer for life.
The contact owns a 2015 Ford F-450. The contact stated that while driving at 65 mph, the vehicle stalled. The contact was unsure about the information displayed on the message board. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure recurred on numerous occasions. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 8,000. The VIN was unavailable.
