I have not fixed this problem as the dealership wanted 3 hours minimum labor to diagnose although they suspected it would be a failed servo motor in the airflow direction ductwork. Their rough estimate was $700.
It is mildly annoying in a/c season but is unsafe in winter as the passenger side windshield and side window do not defrost preventing use of passenger side mirror.
Anyone with knowledge of this issue please pony up with advice please. Experience tells me there is likely a simple fix for this type of problem. Thanks in advance!
