Twice today I experienced the so called 'dead wobble' driving down the interstate at approximates 70 mph. I had to pull to the side of the highway & decrease my speed to approximately 25-30 to get it to stop.

Purchased a 2019 F350 in October of 2018 and starting at 20,000 miles or less vehicle started to violently shake or wobble. This first happen while going down the highway at 58 mph, and truck steering wheel and truck started to wobble and shake. I pulled over unsure what to do, but nothing seems wrong, as in flat tire, and drive shaft. Over the next few months this continued to happen. I have informed the dealer with no response and our local Ford dealer with no response. At routine maintenance appointment, they acknowledge to complaint but do nothing.

The truck has 26000 miles on it but it happened at around 20000 miles. I was driving on the highway going downhill and the truck, when I touched the brakes, started to violently shake back and forth. I could not control it I though the engine was shutting down or something but it was not. I had to slow down and pull over, it was scary. I looked around my truck to see if there was a tire issue but found nothing. I had it happen more than once on the same trip. I had service done recently but there was no mention about the recall and just saw there is one. I have the fordpass app and it showed up but I wanted to be on the record that even now the 2019S still have the problem of uncontrolled wobble. I did not know of this before I purchased but have now learned it has been a problem for many years and it still exists. My entire family was in the truck at the time and it could have ended badly but there was not traffic on the road thank god!

My 2019 F350 truck experienced the death wobble multiple times on recent trip. While towing our camper we hit a seem in the road which caused the truck to start violently shaking uncontrollably. I thought we broke and axle. I was able to slow the truck and pull over. I could not find any damage and so we continued. The truck had approximately 18500 miles on it. This did not occur again for about 1500 miles where it happened when we hit a small pot hole with our front left tire. Again, violent uncontrollable shaking that only stops when speed is below 30 mph. I slowed to pull over but it stopped when my speed got low enough. We continued cautiously not knowing what happened. I did some research but could not find anything at the time. We were on an 8 week trip and had started our return direction so we continued. About 1300 miles later it happened again, stopped when our speed dropped. This time I was able to find information on the "death wobble" and now understood this is exactly what we were experiencing. I had to decide how to proceed as we had our family and camper 1400 miles away from home at this point. I drove very cautiously, and despite my best efforts it happened 2 more times, once without the camper. On our last leg from tn to nc the roads were especially bad and we had 5 more incidents. I drove 45 mph with my hazards on much of the way to get the truck home. It seems to be getting progressively worse and I would say it is not safe to drive anymore. Any seam in the road or pot hole that impact the front tires at speeds above 50 mph will now cause this truck to go into violent uncontrollable shaking that only stops when speeds are reduced to below 30 mph. Very bad situation to be in, especially when this seems to be such a know issue. This should not be allowed to continue.

I was driving home late one night from work, running about 55-60 and the steering wheel and truck started violently shaking and got worse as I tried to apply brakes. It caused me to run off the side of the road into a farm field(luckily no damage)! so I shut the truck off and checked everything, I thought a wheel was falling off or something but everything was good, so I slowly drove home and would start to feel the steering wheel shake when I would apply brakes but nothing like before.

While pulling a gooseneck trailer with my compact tractor on it driving down a 2 lane road at aprx. 50 mph hit a bump in the road and I experienced for the first time in my life what's known as death wobble. Felt like the front tires were rapidly bouncing up and down. I immediately raised my foot off the acceleration pedal. Once it coasted down to about 40 mph the vibration stopped. A couple hours later it happened again on the interstate doing about 70 mph, same trailer setup as before. Raised my foot off the pedal and once the truck slowed down a little bit the vibration went away. The truck still has the original tires on it and they have been rotated. I checked the tire pressures a couple of days ago and they were at/near the factory recommend pressures. Truck has around 38K miles on it.

Every 10K miles, the truck develops the "death wobble" in which the truck shakes violently after hitting small bumps at highway speed. The only solution is to quickly brake and hope that no one has you. Dealers are sympathetic, but say that Ford cannot seem to find the problem and they can only replace the front stabilizer and know that the problem will return. The current stabilizer (third) has just started to fail at 31K miles. Incredibly dangerous while towing (or ever) and it makes us scared to drive the truck.

Five occurrences of 'death wobble' experienced so far. No aftermarket accessories have been installed on the vehicle and everything is stock factory installed. 1) the 1st occurrence was on 10/5/2019 and we were driving solo up a hill on hwy 550 doing about 45-50 mph climbing a hill. We hit a bump and I thought we had flat so pulled over to check. Check and no flat so proceeded and it never happened again so I never brought in to have the dealer (Ford) look at it. I don't have the specific mileage when this occurred. 2) the 2nd occurrence was on 5/14/2020 and we were towing our 12,000 lbs. 5th wheel on southbound I-25 in the middle lane doing about 55 mph. I hit a bump and the truck shook violently and scared us to death as we had traffic on both sides of us and need to slow rapidly. Luckily, I was able to slow down quickly while keeping the truck in my lane and not get re-ended. This is a very scary feeling having a truck out of control towing a 12K trailer in heavy traffic. Mileage was 21,927. 3) the 3rd occurrence was on 5/14/2020 and we were towing our 12,000 lbs. 5th wheel on hwy 24 w doing about 45 mph. I hit a bump and the truck shook violently again and I was able to slow down rapidly as we were heading up hill. Mileage was 21,975. 4) the 4th occurrence was on 5/14/2020 and we were towing our 12,000 lbs. 5th wheel on hwy 24 w doing about 45 mph. I hit a bump and the truck shook violently again and I was able to slow down rapidly as we were heading up hill. This was the third one in about 50 miles. Mileage was 21,980. 5) the 5th occurrence was on 5/17/2020 and we were towing our 12,000 lbs. 5th wheel on hwy 115 N doing about 55 mph. I hit a bridge abutment truck shook violently again and I was able to slow down rapidly. Mileage was 22,175. Working with the dealer to get Ford tsb 19-2274 accomplished.

When driving at highway speeds (60+mph) and the truck hits a bump in the road, the truck experiences death wobble to a degree that the brakes have to be applied emergent until the truck slows below 10mph. Which causes the truck to become a road hazard. Fear is that the death wobble will cause an accident. As well, there is increasing front end vibration when driving above 60mph on apparent smooth interstates.

When driving down the highway and hit a bump the truck violently shakes, losing total control of vehicle, until the speed is able to go down to around 20 to 30 mph. Extremely terrifying when traveling on the highway at 70mph with 18 wheelers on both sides of you. This has happened several times, most recent on 4-23-20. This problem needs to be addressed.

Truck would violently shake going over bumps and will occasionally throw you off the road when going over bumpy roads on freeway. Especially if it's a slight curb. Dealership has already changed steering stabilizer. It happened right after the repair and I almost lost control on the high. Possibly injuring or killing my passengers.

The truck violently shaked out of control while traveling between 50 and 70 miles per hour after hitting various rough road conditions on the freeway. Everything from expansion joints to small potholes. The dealer changed the steering stabilizer to the updated model, but the truck still shakes while going over these road conditions, but does not wobble out of control. "death wobble" truck began this vibration at 10,000 miles, and the wobble took place three times beginning at 13,000.
