Going down the freeway, probably a little over 70MPH, the truck hit some bumps in the highway and then began to vibrate violently. I thought the headliner was going to fall down and I had to slam on the brakes. And once I got down to around 35 MPH the shaking went away. This could have ended differently, I'm lucky i guess. I have an appointment to take it to FORD - hopefully they can fix it????
Ford motor company did not do a recall. They said that they'll call if you have a problem with it before 100,000 mi, that they will take care of it for free but the customer has to go in and state he has a problem with the front end of his truck before they will do the repairs.
So it's like a recall but it's really not. Ford needs really admit that they have a problem with their trucks - this is the second truck I've had a problem with with the death wobble. There's currently a couple of lawsuits throughout the United States - they're going after Ford right now for that problem.
