Three separate times while driving on I-90 our truck started to shutter violently and shake uncontrollably until we were able to come to a stop. We had 3 children in the truck the last 2 times and we were afraid we would lose control of the truck. It seems to happen while driving over 60 mph and the highway has bumps or grooves. Once the truck hits the uneven road it shakes out of control until we-??re able to get stopped and pull off the road.

While towing our fifth wheel camper on two separate occasions, the tailgate of our 2019 Ford F-350 dually opened randomly while in transit. Without knowing the tailgate was down, it caused damage to the front of our fifth wheel when making turns. This occurred on two different highways but since we don't know when it lowered, we don't know the exact highway conditions at the time. Rain was not a factor. So far, it has only opened when the truck was connected to our fifth wheel. According to the Ford dealer, the tailgate recall repair have already been completed on this vehicle. We have not reported this damage to our insurance company and have not replaced the camper's compartment door yet.

I own a 2019 Ford F350 with about 13,500 miles on it. On multiple occasions I have experienced what seems to be named the Ford "death wobble". when driving occasionally the truck starts to shake uncontrollably causing the driver to death grip the steering wheel to avoid losing control. This problem has occurred 10-15 times in about 4 months. Ford does not have a recall on this problem, and they are refusing to put in writing at the service department the exact issue I am bringing the truck in for. They call it "recalls" however there is no recall for this issue. When this occurs, the vehicle attempts to move side to side making it nearly impossible to stay in the lane of travel. This has occurred at speeds of 30 miles per hour on city roads and 65 miles per hour on the freeway. Slowing down or removing your foot from the accelerator only makes the problem worse as we slow down. I have a video recorded of one of the times this occurred which we were going about 63 miles per hour, we slowed down to about 42 miles per hour rapidly in an attempt to keep control. Doing this almost caused the car behind us to hit us and the car to the right of us needed to steer out of the way quickly. Ford does not have a fix for this issue, the front tires on the vehicle look like they have been chopped up due to the bouncing that occurs during the wobble. Someone is going to get killed if Ford does not fix the problem. I have a video that I will gladly share, this only lets me upload pictures

While driving there can be a clunking noise heard and felt from under the driver seat going 60-80 mph on the highway. The clunking is intermittent. The clunking happens more when we are towing our rv which is 16K lb. When the rv is unattached the clunking can be heard and felt less. Most of the roads are smooth when the clunking starts. A 2019 F450 owner told us they had the same issues at 7000 miles after putting it into 4L. They informed us the took it into Ford and they found out that during the assembly of the truck, a part was broken off. Ford fixed it under warranty because it was a factory caused issues.

When driving at highway speed pulling a trailer experiencing violent front end vibration and wobble, this caused us to run off the road into the shoulder nearly causing ya to flip over into the medium. The tires are properly inflated and checked daily. This violent shaking and wobble happens almost daily in a truck purchased as new. This violent shaking started at around 7000 miles and has continued. The vehicle is currently in Ford dealership service at fowlerville Ford in Michigan to have this issues and other looked at. This is an extremely dangerous problem.

Uncontrollable and violent shaking of the steering wheel and entire truck. After hitting a bump in the road the truck will shack so bad that I have to pull over and come to a complete stop. Some times I have to do this in the middle of traffic and or on the interstate. The truck is a complete safety issue not only for me, my passengers, but also the other people on the road. It appears this is an ongoing issue with Ford Super Duty's. it is call "death wobble" for rightful reasons. Please investigate and have Ford make corrective actions in whole. They need to stop selling these trucks until they can figure it out. Its a rolling grenade.

On 1/13/20 while I was driving on the highway the steering wheel began to shake violently causing me to lose control. By the time I got slow down enough to sop I was in the left lane (incoming traffic). Luckily there was no traffic or I wouldn't be able to make this complaint as I would of been hit head on and had no control of the vehicle. My dealer said he had another truck with the same issue and it would take 2 months to get a part to maybe fix it. $65,000 and I have a truck I'm scared to drive. It's a 2019 with 7,000 miles on it. I have a pregnant wife and 3 children. The issues with these trucks are death traps. This truck is basically a one ton wrecking ball that I can lose control of at any minute. It's my only transportation. Something needs to be done about these before someone is killed. My wife won't get in it and won't allow the kids in the truck. This is completely unacceptable. Since it happened I researched possible causes and have learned this is a well documented issue in these vehicles. At this point I'm afraid to I'm either going to die or kill someone else in this vehicle. If I could simply return it I would tomorrow.

One morning while getting into our vehicle (2019 F350) after is had been parked for two days I noticed the rear window was bulging outward and shattered. There is no evidence the window was damaged from the outside, and the window is bulging outward. It appears, the pressurizing of the vehicle cabin by shutting the door could cause enough pressure to blow out a window. The vehicle was parked on a Friday at 1400, it remained parked then on Sunday we noticed the broken window. The vehicle was parked on street which led me to think vandalism, however the outward bulging of the window is evidence the break came from the inside. The doors were locked which means no one could have gotten inside the vehicle.

Driving on dry pavement, approximately 40mph, straight smooth road. I drove over an expansion joint in the pavement, the steering began to wobble violently which made my vehicle leave the pavement onto the opposite side of the road onto an easement. I seemed to have experienced the "Ford deat"H wobble, I contacted the dealership, they referred to what I experienced as a known problem referred to as "death wobble". if a vehicle would hav been coming in the opposite direction, there would have been an accident and could have resulted in death at the speed I was traveling. The truck only has ~15000 miles on it. I was told that there is an apparent tsb on this issue and parts are on national backorder with no idea when the parts will be available. This is a very serious safety issue.

2019 F-350 with 8' bed and approx 1000 miles. 1st occurrence: Departed a campground towing a travel trailer (after doing 3 walk-around safety check prior to departing). Drove 10 miles to nearest gas station before getting on the highway where I discovered the tailgate was down and crushed by the travel trailer. Thinking back through my series of events; I was on level ground and did not reach down to disengage the parking brake below the gate release, I had a ground guide back me up out of my spot who confirmed gate was still up prior to departing, key was in the cup holder with no other objects. I reported this issue to the dealer(4 Sept 2019). They reviewed current recalls on my model and none were reported. I filed a claim with my insurance and absorbed the repair expenses. Important to note, there was a heavy thunderstorm the night prior to departing. 2nd occurrence: (while awaiting parts to repair damages from 1st occurrence) I departed work and just after turning left out of the parking spot still in the parking lot, the tailgate came open unintentionally for the second time during my 2 months of ownership. I immediately noticed it down when I looked in my rearview mirror and no damages from this occurrence.

Purchased new 2019 F350 with the ultimate trailer tow package. Also purchased 5th wheel hitch. After getting home and removing hitch, noticed two of the four pucks have a locking mechanism for securing the hitch. One of the pucks has nothing. One puck has a partial lock. Photos attached. I made attempts to find out if this is normal but can't find any answers. Can you help? photos available upon request.

Our automatic tailgate on our 2019 Ford F350 truck opens and comes down randomly. It has happened 6 times in the first 3 weeks of ownership. This has happened while parked and while driving, the last time the key fob was in the cup holder when we were filling the truck at the gas station. With our 5th wheel trailer attached, the tailgate came down as we pulled away. Not knowing it came down, we made a turn pulling out of the gas station which caused over a $1,000 in damage to our trailer. This randomly opening tailgate is dangerous for anyone pulling a trailer or with any materials that may fall out of the truck bed. Ford continues to deny there is a problem.
