I paid for a Platinum level truck and I maintain it as such. I had the service bulletin work performed as soon as I was made aware. A short time later the tailgate fell which caused damage to the tailgate. The local dealer said they find no problems with the system, but I probably should take it back to wherever I bought it. I filed a complaint with Ford, who said they have to go by what the dealer says. They had no comment when asked about the continuous complaints that the recall work did not solve the problem. I guess the next step is to see if I can join the ongoing lawsuit against Ford for this very issue.
