2015 Ford F350 Super Duty, Full Size Bed. This truck will bounce like crazy on the highway if it is concrete, or asphalt covered concrete. It starts about 60MPH and if I speed up it will go away at about 75MPH. This bounce is very frustrating and makes me upset, mad and embarrassed that such a nice truck that cost so much money would have this issue.
It is not just my truck, by far there are many, many, many of them with this issue and not limited to late or early model trucks. Search Google for this issue and you will be as surprised as I was to how many there are and how long this has been going on!!!
I have replaced the shocks with Bilstein Shocks, added 2" leveling kit to front springs, replaced steering damper shock with Bilstein also, changed tires and rims 3 different times with no change in issue.
The only thing that changed with the new Bilstein shocks was not good either- now with the new shocks on the truck bounces MORE and SOONER with my medium sized dump trailer connected. Before the shock change, if there was a load in the bed or trailer connected there was no bounce to deal with.
I love this truck and have spent lots of money on making it look great, now I want it to ride and drive great also.
I got a pretty good deal on this truck last year at a car lot, now I am understanding why!!!! I am sure this truck was traded in after many attempts from the dealer to fix this issue and they could not.
I feel like FORD has really let us down here, I have owned many work trucks and vans and NEVER had an issue like this.
