Air Bag Light Illuminated on 2014 Ford f350. Recall on other year models but not on my year model. With light illuminated the air bag circuit is open therefore the airbag system is usless which is a safety issue.
Around 25,000 miles the front airbag light stayed on.it went off after driving a few miles.then on a long trip is came on again and hasn't gone off---mileage is 33280.this truck has not been in a colision, wreck or anything.its been babied since new.light came on while driving.on the hiway. Seats might have been adjusted and moved several times. I have tried wiggiling wires under seat---no help.I know there has been airbag recall--my truck is a 2014, might have been made in 2013"?" please help with the problem. Thank you.
Shortly after buying 2014 superduty F350 crew cab diesel used truck in June 2017, airbag lights started coming on and off. Was told they airbags not activate if we were in accident. Dealer who sold it to us did not offer any help, dealer near us could not locate problem since airbag lights went off and on could not locate issue, tried replacing driver side module, no luck. Months later dealer traced problem by removing steering wheel and airbag, and replacing the "sliding contact". we had to drive truck 5 months without the safety of aibags.
