I purchased a new F350 ford 4x4 crew cab Lariot, it came with 20 inch tires, while cleaning it I noticed the tires were dry rotted at the beads on the inside and outside 360 degrees around the tire, the truck only had 200 miles, they are Michelin tires, I was referred by ford to go to an authorized Michelin dealer, Michelin would not do anything, so referred back to dealer, they took pictures and sent them to complaint center, they offered me $700 off of a set of tires that they told me cost $1,620, so this leaves me paying $920.00 on a set of replacement tires for my new $59,000 truck! this makes no sense to me at all! This is a brand new truck!!!!!!! My family as well as myself are all ford customers and I guarantee after this deal I will not buy another new ford if they don't step up!!!!!! If ford won't stand behind their trucks then I am not going to! I told Ford that I bought "ford tires" when I bought this truck, not Michelin, they came on my new truck purchase and that makes it fords responsibility!!!!! Its a shame that they would try to get out of something such as this that is just straight out up front bad tires!!!! I am going higher up on fords ladder, I would expect this out of an import but not out of USA products!!!! And for a little more additional information, I own and operate two tire stores, our family has been in the business since 1968, I know tires!!!!!!
