So I have a 2012 F350 with a gas 6.2, what a piece of crap. The first transmission service is due at 60k so I took it in at 59,300 and they found parts of metal in the transmission. Ford says it's all covered under warranty, it took the dealer two weeks to get the trans apart to evaluate the problem, they originally said it would take TWO DAYS. So now it has been TWO MONTHS as a part is unavailable. I was told a few weeks then another week then another week, what a bunch of crap.
I suggested a rebuilt transmission in a crate that was available in a few days, just get my truck back, Ford said to bad for you, you will just have to wait. The dealer personally said Ford is not supporting the dealers, WOW what a statement !! I previously had a 2002 F350 diesel for fourteen years and they have just lost a loyal Ford customer. good reddens Ford you have no idea how to take care of customers.
By the way I called Ford's complaint department and they took all the info down, and guess what they send ? A questioner as to how there complaint dept. took the info. THAT's IT, no follow up , no call, no nothing.
