Death Wobble- Driving at highway speeds after hitting a bump or bridge transition, there is a severe wobble with the steering wheel, a back and forth motion with loosing control. I had to slow down to about 45 mph to get the wobble to stop. Not good when doing the speed limit @ 70 mph. Did some on-line research and found video to show exactly what my truck was doing.
Mechanic replaced track bar bushing and other components to steering system. Helped for a while but I can feel it coming on again 1.5 years later. It now had a slight shimmy in the steering wheel after hitting a bump on the hwy.
At the time I originally replaced parts, some parts were not available for replacement, even from dealer.
