F-350 LX 6.0L Turbo Diesel V8

  • Manual transmission
  • 250,000 miles

Makes it hard to have to use. Can't let it set over 30 mins without starting it or l have to have it pulled. I am a veteran fighting cancer. This has made it hard on me. I had to be pulled one day by another veteran in the parking lot. I know one other person that got a new truck because of faulty engine. I had it for only a month when l almost got run over by a rig truck when my truck first gave me problems. That cost me $3,000 and almost lost our home over that one. Another person I know had to replace her engine. What a shame and to think l use to make fun of Chevy and know it looks like for the first time l have to say Ford truck could leave you dead.

F-350 Diesel Power Stroke 8

  • Automatic transmission
  • 83,345 miles

engine module failed

Almost a year today we are still having problems with the truck. Part after part repair after repair and again today the truck does not start. The dealership never seems to fix the problem, we end up paying over $5000 plus in repairs with money we dont have! And for what we still hve the same problem of the truck not being able to start. Eventhe service center told us we will be back over and over because this is the worst engine FORD has ever made and all these trucks have the same issue and nothing has been done to help! ANy direction on what we can do or advise? We are tight on budget and this is our only vehicle!

dummy plugs, ipr valve, fuel regulator

Again same problem with truck, not starting and again dealer replaced multiple parts but problem still not resolved. It is bad when the service center at the dealer knows they will see you again! WHo do you trust to fix the problem. ALl these issues FORD needs to recall this truck. THe bedplate is leaking since we first got truck and dealer claimed this was repaired but guess what dozens of parts and repairs later and of course not under warranty.
