The contact owns a 2005 Ford F-350. The contact stated that while driving at 30 mph, the engine stalled without warning. The failure occurred on numerous occasions. The vehicle was taken to a dealer on several occasions where it was diagnosed that the motor needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired but the failure recurred. On another occasion the vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed that the pressure unit for the diesel pump needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 92,000.
