Diesel engines are supposed to have better fuel economy than conventional gas engines. Not this one! These trucks get around 10 miles to the gallon of more expensive diesel fuel ! On top of that, the air filter costs around $80 at discount houses. The two fuel filters will set you back around $200, not to mention it takes 15 quarts of expensive diesel motor oil along with a $35 oil filter ! These costs are if you do the work yourself! Who can afford to run these trucks?
