engine problem

- Dead In The Water - Oil Problems - Vibration in the engine's high pressure oil system leads to failure of the Snap To Connect (STC) fitting. Oil leakage from this component will cause fuel injection system to stop working. This can cause the engine to stall while driving - especially when one backs off the accelerator while the engine is warm. This happened to me multiple times before complete failure after driving about 5000 miles with this intermittent condition. Ford F-350 6.0L had 78,000 miles at STC failure. Note that high pressure oil system is used to drive the engine's fuel injection system.
