Brought my truck in for the gas tank recall and now my tank leaks gas the are trying to say it was leaking before I brought it in so they sent me down the road with a dripping gas tank and wont replace it I had my truck at my mechanics having something else fixed 2 weeks before this and he told me about my broken strap and my tank wasn't leaking then.
The contact owns a 2001 Ford F-350. The contact stated that the vehicle leaked fuel. A repair for recall 01V106000 (fuel system, gasoline: Storage:tank assembly:filler pipe and cap) had previously been performed before the failure. The vehicle was towed to the dealership but the vehicle had not been repaired at the time of the complaint. The current and failure mileages were unknown. The VIN was unavailable.
