with gooseneck trailer, 100 degrees F., the person I bought the truck from said the oil pressure was ok even though the gauge always had looked read low. On this trip with an empty trailer it seemed to be even lower. May have been the heat.
Took it to my mech. and he put a mechanical gauge on it and start up was 60 after 10 min. went to 50 after 30 min. idled at 15 and higher rpm it went 42 psi. I do not know what is normal by spec.
Decided it would be safe to drive it.
