Front end "death wobble" 2019 F250 with 17000 miles. While driving on 2 lane road, slight left curve in the road at approx 55 mph, hit a frost heavy bump. Caused uncontrollable side to side wobble of front end and steering wheel. Worse when I applied the brakes. Stopped once below 40 mph. This has happened 2 times in the last week. Went to Ford today. They replaced the steering stabilizer. I'm skeptical that this will fix the problem. Front tires are at 5/32 factory Goodyear. With even wear. I will replace tires next. These events could easily have resulted in a significant accident. It seems it is a combination of cheap/worn parts and poor quality tires.
Going down the highway the other about 75 hit a bump and the steering started shaking will bad. Had to slow way down to get control. Found out later they call it the death wobble.
I was driving 70 mph down the highway. I went over an area that had a patch in the road and as soon as I hit that bump my truck felt like I was gonna loose control. I almost went into another lane but thankfully I had both hands on the steering wheel. The truck just vibrated so hard. I have noticed that it tends to do that on bumps.
While driving my 2019 F250 diesel power stroke the truck started shaking very violently and I could barely hold on to the steering wheel. I had to slow the truck very abruptly to get it to stop shaking. We were traveling on a state highway, clear skies and the pavement was dry.
While driving my 2019 F-250 Super Duty at 52 mph to get on interstate I hit a small bump on the pavement and I lost control of my pickup due to extreme and uncontrollable violent front end shaking/wobble. I was able to brake the vehicle in time to get to the shoulder. I got out and looked at tires and front suspension but did not find any issues. I started back on the highway crossed a set of railroad tracks going 50 mph and experienced the exact same action. I have contacted my local Ford dealership and scheduled an appointment for them to fix the problem. Why isn't Ford being required by your group to recall these dangerous pickups"???!!!??"

Driving at interstate speeds, I hit a small bump in the road and the steering wheel began vibrating and turning back and forth at a high rate of speed. The front of the vehicle was shaking violently and I was forced to slow down to under 40 mph to get the vehicle back under control. I almost caused a wreck behind me from slowing down so quickly. This has now happened 3 times violently. First at less than 10,000 miles, the second at 42,000 miles and the last and most violently at 45,000 miles. I contacted the dealership, and they informed me that there was no recall, and that it was probably uneven tire wear or improper air pressure in my tires. It would not be covered by my warranty, even though I paid for the extended 100K mile platinum warranty. I have now replaced the track bar with an aftermarket version designed to correct the "death wobble" issue, and the problem has stopped.
Death wobble. The truck started violently shaking going down the highway. This truck was fixed 3 times for the same problem and every time Ford dealership guaranteed that the problem was fixed. My family was out at risk each time and the people that were driving the highway.
When hitting minor bumps in roadway at various speeds the vehicle is thrown violently off course-major safety issue. This has been an ongoing concern the date listed below is the last occurrence.
My 2019 F-250 usually at speeds above 50 mph begins to have violent shaking in the front end suspension/steering system when you hit a bump in the road. Problem can be so severe that you loose control of the truck while trying to avoid traffic to bring the truck to reduced speed to around 15/20 mph before it stops. Shaking.
I was driving my 2019 Ford F-250 with 11,000 miles on it down the interstate at 72 miles/hr. I went over an expansion joint and the truck started shaking violently. The traffic was heavy but all I could do was slam on brakes and pull to the shoulder to get it to stop. I inspected the truck but found nothing obvious. I took the truck to my local Ford dealer the next day and was told "this is common, we call it porpoising". they wouldn't even look at it. I have now spent almost $1000 dollars on a new adjustable track bar, premium shocks and a dual steering stabilizer to try and remedy this issue. This is a major safety issue and Ford is not going to fix it without NHTSA intervention.
While driving at speeds from 45-65mph on highway, truck will go into a violent shaking and entire vehicle will wobble and bounce. The steering wheel is impossible to control and only way to reduce the shaking episode is to slam on brakes and reduce speed to below 10mph. This is a common Ford front end problem and is usually referred to as the 'death wobble' and occurs in most Ford superdutys from 2005-2020
I bought this truck with 14000 miles 3 days ago. I was driving with kids 40mph when I hit a bump on road. The trick violently started shaking and did not stop until I completely stopped the truck. I called service and they said it is a death wobble and if they replace the manufacture part it will happen again in about 30K miles. I was driving on a city road when this happened.
At approximately 55 mph, I hit a bump in the road and the steering began to wobble uncontrollably and I lost control of the vehicle. The only way to make it stop was to slow down to approximately 25 mph on a busy highway. Any time I hit a bump in the road at ~55 mph or more, this happens. Truck has 25800 miles. It has been doing this for the last couple of weeks, but up until this time, it was not near as bad. It is very dangerous and impossible to control without slowing down.
Death wobble / severe shaking of steering wheel and almost lost control of vehicle. Was traveling down the road at around 70 mph and hit a rough patch in the pavement at a bridge. Ford should issue a mandatory safety recall and replace the entire front suspension system and steering system and whatever else it takes to fully resolve. People will get injured or killed if this is not fixed.
The problem has happened about 5 times now, the last time I was towing my work trailer. It seems it is always at or near highway speeds and only if I hit some rough pavement or the start or stop of a bridge. After I hit the rough spots the front end and steering wheel starts to shake very violently. I have to slow down drastically to get it to stop, maybe around 25 mph. The first few times where bad, but the last time with my enclosed trailer I was in the middle of I-75 in ft. Myers Florida and I thought for sure it was going to cause a wreck. Fortunately traffic was not to heavy and everyone was able to get out of my way as I made my way to the shoulder. I really like the truck, but I can not have this happen as I am on I-75 with my trailer just about every weekday it would have not been such a good outcome if it would have been normal traffic for this time of year.
While driving down the interstate the pickup started shaking violently. Then the next time I was driving down the interstate and hit a bump in the road the pickup suddenly jumped into the oncoming traffic and then started shaking violently. It almost caused a major wreck.
