On June 5. 2023, My family was on the way to Dallas. In Huntsville, TX, we were driving approximately 68MPH when we hit an small divet in the roadway. The truck then began to shake violently and would not cease until we pulled off the highway to a complete stop. After checking the truck over, no apparent damage had caused the occurence. I had heard previously about a "Death Wobble" and after some online research, determined this is what had occured. We immediately called our local Ford (Gullo Ford in Conroe, TX) dealership to find that there were no "active recalls" but that if it was determined that a part was causing this, they might repair it after a $140 diagnostic fee. we scheduled an appointment and continued on our trip hoping the occurence would not happen again. In the matter of less than an hour, it occured 4 more times and I deteremined that for my safety and my families safety that we would find a local dealership and try to fins another vehicle to complete our trip. I personally did not feel safe driving the vehicle anymore until the problem was fixed. Luckily, the Ford Dealer in Corsicanna ( Brinson Ford) had heard of the issue and was able to put a band-aid fix (free of charge) on the issue but advised it could happen again. I have video of somoe of the occurences that my wife videoed from the back seat. I'm amazed that Ford doesn't have to officially ackowledge this as a safety recall and will be following up with them as they put me, my wife, and my 10 month old baby in danger multiple times. I now am nervous to even drive my vehicle until I have a 3rd party check over the "repair" and determine it is safe to drive. From what i have heard, the part they replaced is just a temporary fix and doesn't truly address the issue at hand. Some mechanics advise re-doing multile suspension and steering components costing upwards of 5k.

I was driving on the highway at about 70 mph when the truck suddenly lost control. I almost crash into the nearest wall. Fortunately I didn-??t, and I managed to break however as I was braking the truck kept shaking. All the tires were inspected and they aren-??t the issue. Something to do with the suspension caused the lost of control.

On 6/4/23 I was on SR 2 in Erie county, Ohio. The speed limit was 70 mph and my cruise control was set at 70 mph & traffic was fairly heavy. I passed over an expansion joint and my steering wheel started shaking violently back and forth and the vehicle was nearly uncontrollable. The other vehicles near me fortunately saw I was having trouble and luckily they were able to steer clear of me. The only way I got it to quit was to veer to the shoulder, break hard and bring it to a complete stop. After gaining my composure I cautiously pulled back on highway with my warning lights on and did 40 mph to the next exit. Slowly made my way back home not knowing if it was going to reoccur. It was amazing that I or anyone near me wasn-??t injured or killed! If my wife would have been driving there is no way she would have been able to control it.

Traveling at between 65 and 70 miles an hour I hit a small bump in the road and the front suspension and steering wheel started to violently shake. Pulling me all over the road and almost off the road. Fortunately I was able to avoid other drivers. And keep it out of the ditch. I am now terrified to drive my truck. After speaking with the dealer they will repair. Using new parts identical to the ones that failed. With no guarantee that it would not happen again in the future. I feel my truck is completely unsafe to drive. Especially when there's zero warning that this could happen again in the future. Luckily no one was hurt and I avoided barely hitting other cars on the highway.

When I was traveling down the road when hitting a bump my steering started rattling uncontrollably. It felt as if my truck was going to steer off and hit the side wall. My safety was put at risk and others not knowing where my vehicle was going to go on the road. This is not just a problem with my vehicle either. Thousands and thousands of forums online ford customer have experienced the same problem time and time again since 2005. Brand new $90k truck rolling off the lot with ford knowing this is a problem. I just bought this truck a week ago. I should not be spending $48k on a vehicle and already need to dump money into it when this is purely a manufacture problem. There is absolutely no warning that this problem is going to happen either. It can happen anytime any day. If you aren-??t holding on tight enough you may just lose control. So you better be ready at all times when driving this vehicle.

When traveling on the highway going 65 mph hit an uneven spot on highway and the truck started shaking vigorously and had to hold on tight and slow down in the middle of the highway. No safety lights came on. I have an appointment at a dealer to look at it. A goggle search on the problem names it as DEATH WOBBLE

I'm Experiencing with what several mechanics call a "Death Wobble". That is to say when I'm driving the vehicle and I hit a pothole or bump in the road Fifty five miles an hour or faster, the steering wheel and suspension shakes violently and and I have lost some control momentarily. I need to know whether or not there's been a recall for the 2019 Ford F250 crew cab lariat. My concern is the steering dampener, pitman arm and any other front end suspension linkage for the steering and suspension assembly is malfunctioning and needs to be recalled.

When traveling on the highway at about 60-65 mph and hit a bump. The front end started to shake violently. I believe this is know as the F250 death wobble. I was able to slow down and it stopped, but almost went into the Jersey barrier. I went to the Ford dealer I bought the truck from and they have ordered parts to fix this issue. (Hopefully). The mileage on the Truck is 20,500. This occurred on 3/21/23. There were no warning lights or other symptoms before this incident.

When driving on the highway, if I drive over a rough spot, bridge abutment, pot hole etc, sometimes the truck will begin to shake violently. Usually the shaking will only stop if I slow down to below 35 mph. This issue seems to be worse when towing a trailer. I have had the steering damper replaced by Ford 2 times. The issue usually gets better for 10-15,000 miles and then will get worse. First starting with a slight "wiggle" or looseness in the steering wheel. Then after a couple thousand more miles death wobble will start to occur.

On 11/26/22 while driving on the interstate at approx 65-70 mph, my left front tire hit a bump in the road. This caused my truck to violently shake side to side with the front axle. The shaking was so extreme that i thought i was in an accident and could barely hold on to the steering wheel. The shaking only stopped when I reduced speed to about 5 mph. I was almost rearended by a vehicle behind me. Then again on Sunday 1/22/23 it happened again while traveling on the interstate at the same speeds. I notified my dealer (Bozard Ford) and they inspected it and said there was an extended warranty and they replaced a steering part. I now see that this "Death Wobble" is an issue for many. I'm glad I was not killed due to this uncorrected flaw by Ford. No warning lights in these two incidents.

While driving 45 miles an hour down a 3 lane highway I hit a pothole with the left front tire only the truck started to shake uncontrollably I had a hard time keeping it straight and veered into the left lane had to aggressively apply the brakes To get the vehicle to stop causing the vehicle behind me to swerve into the other lane no accidents occurred fortunately This is the 1st time it has happened and the truck did not show any signs of warning or issues. Once I got to a safe place to get out I looked around the truck but could not find any wrong. I will have it inspected by Ford.

When going over 60 and hit a bump or pot hole or ripples I-??m the rode and ect, the tires and steering wheels start shake oh i controllable have to slow down immediately to under 30 miles per hour. This happens when on the highway or any road and Safety is at risk because you can not control the steering during this time and those you from lane to lane and even worse if having a trailer. Also safety at risk cause have to slow down right then and there and hope no cars are around you : You lose all control of steering when this happens / Looking in line it is know issue with Ford f250 and was a recall but I don-??t see a recall on my truck. It shows it is called death wobble. I paid more for this truck than any vehicle I have had and scared to drive it and really scared of o have my family and grandkids in the truck with me. Not working lights are anything come in it just happens really fast.

I experienced the ford "death wobble" I had $1200 worth of repairs done on steering and suspension parts. 10,000 miles and 7 months later I am experiencing the same problems again. This is a real safety concern because you loose all control of the vehicle at speeds over 50 miles per hour. How long before this problem kills someone? The first time I experienced this problem the vehicle dragged me accross 3 lanes of traffic at 70 mph.

At speeds above 50 mph when you go over uneven road surfaces there is tremendous shaking with the steering to the point that almost leads to uncontrollable steering. The only way to control is to brake to reduce speed. Internet searches for this condition describe it as F series wobble.

While driving at freeway speeds, my vehicle-??s front end and steering wheel started to vibrate and shake violently (steering oscillation). I had to slow down immediately and pull to the side of the road to avoid being involved in a collision. This continues to occur on a regular basis and I feel that this vehicle has an engineering flaw and a premature failure in the vehicle-??s steering and suspension components. I believe this vehicle is unsafe to be driven on the road, because this issue may lead to a traffic collision which could result in serious injury or death.
