I experinced the death wobble on 18 Dec 2020 in my 2019 Ford F 250. I was going about 65 70 on the highway and crossed a bridge and the truck started shaking violently, was hard to steer and got to the emergency lane and got it slowed down to where it was controllable.

My 2019 F-250 front tires starting bouncing at 75 mph on interstate enough to alarm me a month ago. Yesterday 12/19/20 I hit a bump on a bridge 63 mph and the trucks front tires started bouncing uncontrollably, I almost hit a log truck head on. I held the wheel hard w/both hands and tried to brake but they did not function properly during the event. This truck has 32K miles and it is dangerous!

I was driving down the highway at about 60 mph and upon hitting a bump experienced what I have come to know as the 'death wobble' the steering wheel was shaking and presumably the tires were shaking as well because I could not gain control of the vehicle. Luckily I was in the right hand lane and could slowly brake to a stop and regain control of the vehicle. I believe, after some research, that this is due to a litany of suspension parts being loose or too weak.

I was driving on a freeway on an incline and slight curve. There was a little dip in the road. The truck started shaking like I had a flat tire. I pulled over checked truck and tires over. Found no problem. I pulled back on the freeway and then it drove normal. Did research and I had never heard of the death wobble before that.

"death wobble" after only 14,000 miles on the vehicle.. the vehicle shakes violently at high speed steering fear. Every time you hit a bump on the highway the vehicles shakes for a very long time till you slow down substantially and try to get to the highway shoulders.. very dangerous and scary.

On 12/15/2020 at approx 4:30 pm, I experienced sever steering wheel oscillation (death wobble) while crossing an over pass expansion joint on the Florida turnpike at around 70 mph. Truck is under warranty and has 21,000 miles on it. Luckily my wife was not driving when this happened as it was almost uncontrollable, had to merge into the emergency lane and decrease speed to around 30 mph before it stopped. Car behind me saw that the front axle was hopping uncontrollably and put their hazards on.there are known fsa's and tsb's from Ford regarding this problem. This is the first time it has happened and making an appointment to take to dealer to fix. After reading several threads about this, I'm sure it will be more of a "band aid" than a true solution.

My truck started violently shaking on the freeway at 65 mph when hitting rough patch on highway. Almost crashed due to having to slow down and steering being almost impossible to control. Cars behind me swerved to avoid me. My 2 year old was in the. Back seat and was terrified with myself and my girlfriend riding passenger.

At 75mph on interstate 95 I drove over a portion of the road that ent from asphalt to concrete back to asphalt it has a slight dip when I experienced a violent shaking in my front end I almost lost control and had to almost come to a complete stop during rush hour to regain control of my truck mind you I drive a tractor trailer fire truck for over 40 years and this incident involving my new truck actually scared me! whatever the issue is it definitely involves the front end of the truck I recently purchased the truck with 20,000 miles it has 21,400 on it as of today it came with a 30,000 or 3 year manufacture warranty I called Ford customer service and was put on hold and transferred a couple of times with no explanation but to contact a Ford dealership to have them look for the problem

I reported this same problem with the front suspension (death wobble) just after 5000 miles and has happened again with approximately 17,000 miles. My wife and I were almost involved in an accident as I tried to recover and slow the truck off the two lane highway. The truck has been into the dealership numerous times with still no definite solution, they have replaced the steering stabilizer shock at least twice and the track bar once along with checking all front end components it has done little to fix the problem. I have been told by the dealer if I have considered doing a dual shock stabilizer myself as this has been shown to reconcile some of the problems related to this issue yet the truck should not have these kinds of wear problems at just over 17,000 miles. Ford continues to mask the problem while waiting for its customers to seriously be injured or even killed. I feel as if this serious problem falls on deaf ears as the oldest and biggest truck manufacturer has skirted its responsibility to consumer safety. Please help us solve this issue immediately before more people are hurt or killed!.

At speeds above 60 mph vehicle has frequent violent front wheel shake/shimmy and has nearly caused numerous accidents whenever encountering uneven road services. Michelin tires are in excellent condition and balanced perfectly. This is so severe my wife will not drive the vehicle nor will she allow our grandchild to ride in the vehicle. I will only drive it on rare instances. Vehicle has less than 10,000 miles, is completely stock and has never been off pavement (offroading).

2019 F250 steering stabilizer failed causing excessive uncontrollable vibration in steering at highway speeds towing 5th wheel trailer or not towing until vehicle is brought to full stop causing high probability of rear end collision and loss of life. This occurred at ~21K miles. Ford replaced part. Excessive uncontrollable vibration in steering again started again at 37K miles. Ford will replace steering stabilizer again at no cost, but wants me to pay for front end bushing replacement at $630.

2019 F-250 "death wobble", this occurred in August 2019 with less than 5,000 miles on the vehicle, it was taken into the dealership for repair. The "death wobble occurred again November 3, 2020 and again November 18, 2020. All three times this has happened I have been on the interstate going the posted speed limit of 75 mph. This happens on bridge transitions. The vehicle was again taken in both times for repair. I keep getting told by Ford this "should" fix the problem. I am scared of this vehicle as it is a danger to myself and to others on the highway. I have requested a buy back from Ford as this is the third time it has happened on a new vehicle that now have 9,550 miles on it. Ford has denied the buy back.

Experienced "death wobble" 5 times. 3 in one trip and the other two about 2 months apart each all around 70-75mph. Dealer says not under warranty because we have installed Ford approved leveler kit; all else is factory. "death wobble" started around 34K miles, but thought it was at first very bumpy road because the roads were under construction

Driving at highway speed (60+) in a straight direction, under dry conditions of 55 degrees F, I encountered a short patch of paved road with a rough or washboard surface. Suddenly the vehicle began to encounter severe sustained steering wheel oscillation which shook the entire vehicle, reduced my ability to steer the vehicle, and resulted in the vehicle entering the oncoming lane of traffic. After slowing the vehicle to approximately 40mph, the oscillation ended and I was able to regain steering control. This occurred again shortly after encountering a similar road surface. The vehicle was unloaded except for the 4 occupants.

Twice this past weekend, I experienced what the dealership calls "death wobble". the steering wheel and entire truck started shaking violently after going over uneven asphalt. The first occurence was on the highway around 75mph and the second time was at approximately 55mph. It felt like the truck was going to shake itself apart and I had very little steering until I slowed the truck down below 20mph. In both instances, I was seriously concerned for my life (and I don't scare easliy in vehicles). After reading on the internet, it appears this is a widespread issue with Super Duty Ford. Surprised this is happening to a truck with only 33,000 miles on it! I am scheduling a time for the truck to go back to the dealership.

Ford F-250 at highway speed (50-70mph) will become totally unstable after hitting an uneven section of road, bump, pot hole. Vehicle begins to shake violently. Vehicle control is not gained until the truck is slowed down to 15-20 mph. Other cars notice and slow down, to avoid possible collision. The issue is and will result in a fatal accident. Vehicle was taken to dealership for this issue and was told they could not duplicate the problem. The issue was explained and nothing was done to solve the problem.

Vehicle (2019 Ford F250 XLT) experienced what is commonly referred to as the "death wobble". when hitting a bump or irregularity along the interstate, at highway speeds (70 mph and above), the entire vehicle and steering column shook violently and was uncontrollable. I experienced this event twice on a recent trip out of state, with my grandchildren in the vehicle. I immediately stopped at a mechanic shop, and described the event to the mechanic, who informed me that this is a common problem with the Ford F250, and although there are measures than can be implemented to reduce the issue with the faulty front end suspension and design, the "death wobble" will most likely continue. I have spoken with several other Ford F250 owners who are experiencing the same issue with their vehicles. These vehicles are unsafe to drive at highway speeds, and are putting the occupants of the vehicle, and and other highways travelers in the vicinity of the vehicle, at risk of injury or death. As far as video documentation of the incident, please go to you tube, and enter Ford F250 "death wobble". you will see several instances of this event. In speaking with the Ford Motor Company, I was informed that the front end of the F250S were re-designed in the year 2020, and that the "death wobble" is no longer an issue. This does nothing to help the people who purchased the F250S between 2011 and 2019. Thank you.

In the last two weeks my 2019 F-250 truck has started shaking when reaching speeds around 50 mph. The entire front end of the truck starts rattling and steering wheel starts jolting back and forth at a rapid pace causing you to not have control of the vehicle. This occurs on well paved roads, highways and interstates. When searching for what the cause may be for this issue, I find hundreds of complaints and reports about the "death wobble". this definitions is exactly what is occurring with my vehicle. I have had the 2019 truck for just over a year and have less than 40,000 miles on it. I did buy the extended warranty on the truck so hopefully Ford will honor it and fix it correctly so I can safely drive it again.
