Hauling cattle with our new (Literally 5985 miles) 2018 Ford F250. Stopped for lunch. Came back out to vehicle and truck would not start. Battery good, screen warning showing Transmission Check. Nothing would work so called roadside assistance and towed vehicle to Madera Ford where it was purchased.
They called the next morning saying the Transmission Wiring Harness was missing and the vehicle will not operate without it. Hmmmm, well we drove the vehicle to the restaurant. They say "Well, someone must have cut it while you were there. You should make a police report" Wait, what?! So I get the video from business across the street. You see us drive up, and no one EVER touches the vehicle, we come out and truck does not start.
So I tell Madera Ford about the video. They say "Well the part is missing so it is not covered under warranty" HUH?! I open a complaint case with Ford Motor Credit. Dawn (FMC) says 'They (Madera Ford) says it looks like it was cut so we will not cover' I am so beyond angry! Sounds like a manufacturing problem to me if it can just fall off the vehicle. So now we are looking at a $1,500 estimate to replace wiring harness. Ridiculous!! We have purchased Fords as long as I can remember. Well not next time!!
