The engine light activated on the dash randomly while driving. My truck was experiencing loss of power and for the next few days and reduced fuel mileage. I checked the engine code and learned it is a common error with 2017 Ford Super Dutys with the 6.7L diesel engine. The code is -??DTC P203B-??, sometimes indicated as P203B00 is an OBD diagnostic trouble code indicating a manufacturer-specific fault with the vehicle powertrain (i.e. engine and gearbox). This code identifies an error with the air/fuel mixture causing reductant level sensor circuit range/performance. I believe this error in manufacturing is a safety risk because it is common within these trucks and can leave motorists stranded or potentially disable the vehicle in the roadway causing a traffic hazard.

The truck has only 30K miles on it and last week while driving it on the freeway it suddenly developed a violent shaking at speeds over 60mph. Only by braking and pulling over to the shoulder were we able to stop the shaking. We are trying to work with our local Ford dealership-they think it's a problem with the steering dampner and the track bar.
