The contact owns a 2015 Ford F-250. While driving at an undisclosed speed, the button for the panel roof was pressed. While the panel roof was sliding backwards, the mechanism fractured and the sliding roof glass came off the track. The vehicle was taken to stanley Ford gilmer (622 us hwy 271 N, gilmer, tx 75644, (903) 843-2521) where it was diagnosed that the plastic tracks fractured. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was also notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 31,000. The VIN was not available.
