The contact owns a 2015 Ford F-250. The contact stated that while driving at slow speeds, the vehicle intermittently hesitated upon depression of the accelerator pedal. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact stated that the hesitation was temporary before the vehicle resumed normal operation. The manufacturer was notified the failure and the contact was informed that there were no recalls on the VIN nor a Warranty on the vehicle. The contact was then referred to the NHTSA Hotline to report the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 10,000.
Upon turning out of our driveway, they turned right onto a public road began to accelerate then let off. The accelerator did not let go it began increasing speed causing panic they hit a ditch and flipped over upside down the accelerator was still wide open until the motor shut itself off
The contact owns a 2015 Ford F-250. The contact stated that the gears failed to upshift and downshift and the rpms and transmission were not properly functioning each time the failure recurred. The vehicle also hesitated to pick up speed each time the failure occurred. The vehicle was taken to the dealer twice and they were not able to replicate the failure. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 8,000. The VIN was not available.
