First noticed loss of power while pulling my 5th wheel, going up a hill 35 mph was the max. Took it to a Ford dealership where they worked on it. Pulled the 5th wheel a month later and the same problem. On my way home the engine light come on with a green wrench and the message reduced power. Unhooked the 5th wheel and took it to the Ford dealer in Twin Falls. Middlekauff Ford informed me the DPF system needed to be replaced, and the cost was a little over $4,000. My complaint is my F250 only has 35,400 miles on it. The manual states the DFP system should be good to 120,000, a slight difference in mileage. I like Ford pickups but think that this problem is unacceptable since it has low mileage on it.
