I am seeking a solution. I have already spent $2500 to have the engine "fixed" on my '06 F-250, and it is worse, now, than it was when I took it to get it "fixed". Called Ford, today, after taking it back to the same (dis-comforting) dealership, in Jackson, MS. Ford offered no help and couldn't wait to get off of the phone. No was the answer to everything. Has anyone found a reasonable solution???
I paid a tow truck for towing to my local Picayune Ford dealership in MS, only to find that there was nowhere to drop the vehicle. I had to have the driver return the vehicle to my house, and now I need to hire another tow truck to take it to a dealership for repair. From now on do I need to have my vehicle towed and serviced in the next nearest town of Slidell, LA? If my local Ford dealership cannot serve my needs, then I don't need to due business with them. In my opinion this is an unnecessary expense of a couple of hundred to a few hundred dollars of extra expense out of my pocket to have my vehicle repaired. I have owned two Ford Taurus vehicles, a Ford Focus, and an F-150 prior to this, and had problems with the Focus two days after purchasing it. Should I consider purchasing a competitors vehicle next time?
