2006 Ford F-259. Consumer writes in regards to vehicle shaking while driving at speeds over 70 mph. The consumer stated the shaking became so violent it felt as if the front end was going to rip off.
Extreme shaking and near loss of control after crossing over a minimal bump at speeds above 55 mph. Happened 9 times within the last two years. Only way to end shaking was to leave the roadway and slam on the brake.
: the contact stated that light reflects onto the dashboard, resulting in visibility issue with the speedometer. The dealership has been alerted. Updated 8/16/2006 - the problem is not primarily a glare problem. The gauges are recessed which may also be a cause of the visibility issue.
