I bought my F-250 brand new in 2004. Now 12 years later it only has 72,000 miles on it. It was my baby, I never abused it. Now it's a piece of junk. I took care of my truck, now I'm supposed to pay $4,600 to put a rebuild transmission in it. Well where should I drive it? I'm afraid it will fail again. I was told it got slammed into reverse. I don't drive my truck that way. I have a 3/4 ton Super duty with a diesel engine that can't even pull itself, let alone pull something behind it. I can't believe there was no recall to fix the problem.
What would crack a transmission like that, (poor engineering, and greedy people)
