The contact owns a 2005 Ford F-250 Super Duty. While driving at approximately 10 mph, the vehicle stalled; however, it continued to move forward until it crashed. A police report was not filed. There were no injuries. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer where the contact was told that the fuel injector control module needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was also notified and stated that the vehicle was not included in the recall associated with NHTSA campaign id number 05V266000 (fuel system, gasoline:delivery:hoses, lines/piping, and fittings). The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 53,568 and the current mileage was 54,568.
