The problem started when the engine was underload (ie climbing hills). It would start to buck and jerk. I don't feel that a truck with under 78K miles should have such a significant problem and a cost of almost $3,000. According to the dealer I took it to, they have performed "a lot" of these repairs on the 6.0L F250 diesel trucks but mostly over 100K miles. Has anyone else had this problem or know of anyone who has?
