won't start when hot soon it will not start does crank well
Need help, had it towed to my place have a scanner with the key in the on position a code of 6?? ( did not record) bought a Hanes manual to get a chart to explain code. Could not retrieve code scanner keeps saying no codes stored. has correct fuel pressure when cranked but will not start or even try. Starter fluid sprayed into intake resulted in instantaneous running of the engine which will run as long as you spray the fluid. Other issues an item called injector control module part #12B599 is not located where the Hanes manual says it is. Two separate tech notions at a local ford dealer ship gave me different locations first tech= no joy second tech may have led me to it however I cannot find any numbers on possible part (very expensive part ) also having trouble finding power train control module part # 12A650. The best I can remember the code was p0611 but that is a guess. Any help, advice, suggestions will be appreciated especially the exact location on a 2002 model, according to Hanes the location ??? Is different than on 1999-2001, and 2003 and newer
