The contact owns a 1999 Ford F250. While inspecting the undercarriage of the vehicle, the contact touched the cross member and it immediately crumbled in his hands. A mechanic came out to inspect the vehicle and stated that all of the cross members that support the bed across the frame were all defective. Through research, the contact discovered that numerous vehicles of the same model were experiencing this failure. He believes that a recall should be issued. The current and failure mileages were 217,000.
Rear slider window develops cracks in plastic frame, causing the window to leak into the cab. Dealer and manufacture refuse to compensate for replacement.
