Had to have truck towed by private dealer, due to ford dealer wrecker gone home early for the day $55. Charged $213 for fuse, brake off/on switch, and wiring harness, fuse repeatedly blew the next day. Langdale ford of Valdosta came and towed the truck and kept it for one and a half weeks and called me to tell me they could not find the problem. The dealership told me it would cost me between $750 and $1000 to pull the dash and check for problems. I went and got the truck, took it to a private mechanic and 10 minutes later he showed me the problem: a melted light socket for the third brake light that the dealership was supposed to have checked. A $10 replacement harness at a salvage yard and I was back on the road. Oh yes, because my truck is used as an emergency vehicle to respond to FEMA disaster locations, the ford dealership had disconnected my emergency lights costing me another $200 to have fixed.
