Upon starting one morning, the engine made a loud banging noise. Had the engine inspected and found that an intake manifold gasket had failed. The engine had to be replaced.
Periodic low coolant levels with no visible leaks, progressively worse low oil pressure, trouble starting, steam in exhaust coolant leaking into cylinder caused bent rod and necessitated engine rebuild.
