Two driveway flat tires due to unusual and non repairable cracks in the tire sidewalls. One blow out on the highway at approximately 55 mph one month ago with near tread separation. And one severe blow out two days ago on highway at 70 mph, complete tread separation. All on same tires, Bridgestone dueler at 693, 31X10.50 R15S. I still have the most recent three.
On 2-8-99 I noticed the sidewalls on the 4 tires on the ground were starting to serperate. I took my truck to Firestone dealer, he looked at my tires. Called Firestone, and replaced all 4 tires with same style and kind. I was told thy had a defect in sidewall and could blow out. I have been scared of these tires as they just dont look right. I believe this to be faulty tires, I noticed Friday that these tires are being questioned by you, and should be as I feel they are unsafe. (tiresize: 23585R16)( dot number: Tire size: 23585R16 )
