TSB Document:
Affected Component: SERVICE BRAKES, AIR:ANTILOCK:CONTROL UNIT/MODULE
- Summary
- Some 2023 F-150 Raptor/Tremor vehicles may exhibit failed programmable module installation (PMI) using the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) when installing a new ABS module. This may be due to the software within the new ABS service replacement part. To correct this condition, when installing a new ABS module during normal Workshop Manual (WSM) repair and diagnosis, use service part PL3Z-2005-B and perform part installation and PMI per the WSM, Section 206-09 Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) and Stability Control, Removal and Installation, Electric Brake Booster (EBB). For claiming, use causal part 2005 and applicable labor operations in Section 02 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual.
