2023 Ford F-150 Lightning
TSB Document:
Affected Component: UNKNOWN OR OTHER
- Summary
- Some 2023 F-150 Lightning vehicles built on or after 31-Jul-2023 may exhibit DTC P2DA6 stored in the secondary on board diagnostic module C (SOBDMC). This may be due to the software level of the SOBDMC. Refer to the Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 412-00 Climate Control System - General Information, Diagnosis and Testing, Climate Control System - Electric, Vehicles With: Dual Automatic Temperature Control (DATC) and perform Pinpoint Test AK: P2DA6:00. In Step AK4, if the ECT2 sensor PID value is greater than 70 degrees Celsius (158 degrees Fahrenheit), this condition may be due to the software level of the SOBDMC. This condition does not affect vehicle operation or durability and no additional diagnosis or service is required for this condition at this time. Engineering is working on a solution that is expected in Q2 2024. Monitor OASIS for additional information and schedule service appointments once the repair becomes available.
