TSB Document:
Affected Component: ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING
- Summary
- Some 2022 Mustang Shelby GT500 vehicles built on 27-Sep-2022 and through 04-Nov-2022, and 2023 F-150 Raptor R vehicles built on 21-Sep-2022 and through 13-Feb-2023, may exhibit an engine oil leak from the front of the engine. This may be due to a crankshaft front oil seal leaking due to an out of specification engine front cover seal bore. To correct the condition, replace the engine front cover. Workshop Manual (WSM) procedures for engine front cover replacement have been updated. Refer to WSM, Section 303-01F. For claiming, use causal part 6019 and M-time.
