TSB Document:
Affected Component: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
- Summary
- Some 2021-2023 F-150 vehicles equipped with a 3.3L engine may exhibit an illuminated MIL in the instrument panel cluster (IPC) with DTC P0171 stored in the powertrain control module (PCM). This may be due to the software of the PCM. Engineering is currently investigating this concern. To temporarily address this issue, clear the DTC and run the PCM - Reset the Keep Alive Memory (KAM) application in the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS). Inform the customer they can continue to drive the vehicle. Monitor OASIS for additional updates.
