Some 2021-2022 F-150 vehicles equipped with a 2.7L EcoBoost engine may experience and illuminated malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) with diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) P2ABA, P2ABC, P2AB7 and/or P2AB9 stored in the PCM. This condition does not affect vehicle durability and no additional diagnosis or service is required for this condition at this time. If no other DTCs or drivability symptoms are present, clear the DTCs and return the vehicle to the customer. Inform customers that they can continue to drive the vehicle and engineering is currently working on a solution for this condition that is expected in October 2022.
