2022 Ford F-150 Lightning
TSB Document:
Affected Component: EQUIPMENT
- Summary
- Some 2021-2022 F-150 vehicles equipped with On-Board Scale may exhibit DTC U3000:54 stored in the VDM after replacement and will not clear. A warning message may also be displayed in the center display screen. If programmable module installation (PMI) was not followed or the original VDM will not communicate, the U3000:54 may be stored. If the original VDM communicates, perform a PMI before VDM removal. This DTC does not affect vehicle durability and no additional diagnosis or service is required for this condition at this time. Inform customers that they can continue to drive the vehicle and engineering is currently working on a solution that is expected in September 2022. Replacement or reprogramming of the VDM will not resolve this condition. Monitor OASIS for additional information and schedule service appointments for customers once the repair becomes available
