Some 2021-2022 F-150 vehicles equipped with the rear 3/4 floating axle and with less than 5,000 miles (8,000 km) built on or before 10-Feb-2022 may exhibit various warning messages displayed/illuminated warning indicators in the instrument panel cluster (IPC) with anti-lock brake system (ABS) diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) C0036, C0037 and/or U1012 in the anti-lock brake system (ABS) module. This may be due to metal contamination found on the axle wheel speed sensors or axle shaft tone ring. To correct the condition, refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 205-02C to remove and clean rear axle housing tubes, axle shaft-tone ring and speed sensor.
