I need to address a safety concern! On 3/13, I was driving back home. my 3 year old daughter was sitting in her car seat (behind the driver seat). She pulled the seatbelt from the middle seat and wrapped it around her neck choking herself. I had just got home and thank god I did because this would have been a totally different story. I pulled up to my mailbox to get my mail. I happen to look back and saw she was purple on the verge of blue. I had no scissors in my car to cut the belt. I drove up my long driveway ran into the house came out with scissors and cut the belt as it was locked and there is no emergency unlock button. Her neck was very red and has broken blood vessels. I have pictures to prove this! No where on the belts does it say -??choking hazard-?? I thought seatbelts were supposed to SAVE LIVES! My seatbelt can be replaced however, my daughter life cannot! Thankfully, is ok!! I called a ford dealer to get the belt fixed. Was told it was $1,000!!!!!
