My truck has BlueCruise technology. I have noted that the technology can be dangerous and drive me off the road, particularly in an area of an Interstate I drive often. Each time I go through that area, it will drive me off the road if I don't catch it. Always in the same place and in the same way.
The display screen went black. Without it there is no back up camera ( and many other features). This is a king cab long bed. Very dangerous to drive without these important safety features working properly. The dealer says it is a -??common problem-??. It is a $1500 repair if it were not still under warranty.
We have been stranded twice for the recall issued in late January 2024, for the rear axle. The truck is currently at the 5th dealership since January2024. The truck is not driveable and Ford still does not have a way to fix the issue. We are having the axle replaced for the second time by a Ford dealership, with no assurance that they have determined how to solve the problem. We picked the truck up from the last axle repair on 2-21-24. We had a rear wheel sensor issue on 3-6-24, after driving less than 1000 miles. On 3-28-24, the axle defect occurred again. The truck was towed again. The Ford website says they do not yet have a solution, yet their certified mechanics continue to -??fix-?? the issue.
The climate control system will malfunction and make the cab of the truck unbearably hot, even to the point of physical discomfort at the feet of the driver. The air is so hot blowing on the drivers feet that I have to remove my feet from the pedals to cool. This is a major distraction to the driver. The dealer says this is normal. No warnings or alarm messages.

Recently completed the safety recall for my 2022 F150 axle bolt replacement. The dealer informed me that this is a "repair" and not a solution to why the axle bolt broke leading to replacement of both the left and right axle shafts. My dealer service manager told me Ford does not have a permanent "fix" to the axle bolt problem and will keep my recall service ticket open as this bolt may break again. I am concerned about my safety driving this truck now. Please assist with my issue and others who are experiencing this same problem.
While driving down the highway, my 2022 Ford F-150 Tremor randomly caught on fire. I was driving down the highway and was flagged down by other drivers to let me know the bottom of the truck was on fire. I pulled over and luckily someone had a fire extinguisher and we were able to get the fire under control. The fire department was also called and they also helped put out the fire after their arrival. The truck has always been serviced at a Ford dealer and had gone in for an oil change less than 350 miles prior to the truck catching fire.
Speakers (B&O) - I turned on the vehicle from a cold start and I began to hear what I thought was rats invading the rear interior of the vehicle, I heard a loud crunching noise. I turned the stereo down and it was not as pronounced. I began to drive and the sound continued loud cracking and soft at times coming from the front and rear speakers. It was annoying and very loud popping at times. It did not stop when I turned the radio down but it did stop when I got to my destination 10 minutes later. The issue has not reoccurred since but I feel like the rear speakers are not as loud as they once were. I did. It feel my safety was in jeopardy but the sounds was annoyingly loud. No warning lights came on and the Ford app stated there were no problems. I have not yet brought the vehicle I got the dealer. I will be scheduling in the coming days.
Very Loud pulsing/crackling noise coming from speakers. I was Startled and had to pull over on busy highway to figure out what was happening. Thought truck was going to blow up.
I placed groceries in my front trunk -??Frunk-?? and they shifted while trying to leave. Once shifted they hit the emergency release button inside the frunk which opened the frunk hood unexpectedly. These should be covered or less accessible inside the frunk.
Upon starting my pickup after work a loud static sounding noise was heard coming from the speakers in the rear doors and in the A pillars of the vehicle. I was unable to get the noise to stop even if the radio was turned off. I had no control of the volume coming out of the speakers and it seemed that it was as loud as they could go. The noise was not always constant, sometimes quieting down for 10 to 15 seconds at a time. However, I have a half hour drive to get home and this sound was continuous for the entire drive. The noise was loud enough that I feel hearing protection would be required to operate the vehicle. I drove the vehicle to the dealership where I had purchased it and made an appointment to have the issue resolved.
Parked running boards do. Or always go up, lighting stays on for 10 min, have to go play with on/off over and over and to get it to shutoff. On the HwY BC shuts off out of nowhere, and ping pongs back and forth. Get messages saying drivetrain failure, steering failure go to the Dealer naturally. Nothing wrong. Loud pop from sound system is back again, and did it so loud scared the crap out of a passenger, this is beyond dangerous, the software update didn-??t work, Ford denies any issues at all exist on anything.
Randomly and suddenly while driving on OH State Route 98, my vehicle started a ROARING audio expulsion that could NOT be stopped. It was coming from EVERY speaker and at MAXIMUM volume and lasted for about 45 minute. I tried audio controls, I pulled over on the side of the road and shut down my vehicle. I opened my door to "complete" the computer shut off. I tried randomly pulling fuses to no avail. I did NOT have tools to remove the battery connection. It produced such power that a distinct odor of electrical fire was present. I did NOT witness flame, but I was very worried it was soon to happen. I drove to dealer. All controls SEEMED to work normally. The audio was dangerously loud and we recorded a video / audio.
Max tow package 3/4 floating rear passenger side axle retention bolt twisted until snapped off. Only thing keeping the rear wheel/axle setup on the truck was the brake caliper.... Ford tech said they have so many in for this issue they don't have the parts in stock anymore. There was a recall issued for some 2021 models but this continues to effect 2022s and 2023s.
When in my vehicle, there is a very loud POP and STATIC that is sufficiently loud that it is startling and dangerous. I've experienced this issue 3 times now. I contacted Ford, and their support team just pointed me to my dealer. This issue will eventually cause someone to crash, lose hearing, cause a seizure, etc.. Very dangerous. After experiencing the issue, I began doing online searches and find that this issue has been reported across multiple platforms including news and forums. It appears that the issue exists with the B&O sound system. My dealer claimed they weren't sure what the problem was, but that they could take a look and try to figure it out. I think this is a serious enough issue that the Ford and the dealers should prioritize the repair as this is far more serious than an errant windshield wiper (one of the recalls).
Sync 4 with the B&O unleashed system. Yes anytime. Extremely loud noises came from speakers upon startup of engine. It continued for several minutes accompanied by loud static as well. Ears hurt for hours after. This happened with 2700 miles on speedometer. Has happened 2 more times since. Dealer acts like I don't know what I am talking about and got little answer Dealer unable to duplicate. Manufacturer has not reached out to me There was no warning of the occurrences at any time. Extremely unsafe to operate when it can happen with out warning. If no fix I will be unleashing this truck to another poor sapp.
While driving, parked or switching to reverse the stereo will emit a very loud noise. Best described as an electronic explosion that lingers. It doesn't just go BOOM it goes BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMM and lasts up to 70 seconds so far. It has even happened when turning the truck off and it persists after everything is off. Ford dealer says "everything is fine" this is a video of it doing it.
