Some 2024 F-150 non-Lightning vehicles equipped with minor feature codes C2BAW and FDDAA may exhibit an intermittent Trailer Brake System Fault See Manual message in the instrument panel cluster (IPC), inoperative trailer brake controller, and/or diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) U0131:87, U0140:87, U0100:87 and/or U0121:87 stored in the trailer module (TRM) when installing the trailer brake controller kit ML3Z-19H332-AB. To confirm a vehicle is built with a certain minor feature code, review the build information by double-clicking the vehicle identification number (VIN) in the upper left corner in the Professional Technician System (PTS). Trailer brake controller kit ML3Z-19H332-AB does not include the correct TRM for 2024 F-150 vehicles, and this kit should not be installed on 2024 F-150 vehicles.
