- Summary
- Some 2021-2023 F-150 hybrid vehicles equipped with a 3.5L PowerBoost engine built on or before 01-Mar-2023 may exhibit an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) with DTCs P237C, P2C22 and/or P2C23 in the powertrain control module (PCM). This may be due to the exhaust heat exchanger bypass control valve. To correct this condition replace the muffler inlet pipe. Refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 309-00D Exhaust System - 3.5L V6 PowerBoost (CN), Removal and Installation. For claiming, use causal part 5A212 and applicable labor times in Section 05 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual.
