I have several vids for a dealer, if I can find one with more than a two star rating! The screen pixelates terribly and does not work. Apple Car Play has been an ongoing issue and either won’t stay connected or connection comes and goes. I travel so I use MAPS (not the pricey Alexa driven crap) but through my Apple device. I often can’t get connected at all so I can actually see my map but I can hear SIRI giving instructions. On I-5 near LA, SIRI’s directions are meaningless! I need pics or written turn-by-turns. The screen becomes useless, icons won’t work, the screen says (while driving mind you) to “plug into the USB” and it’s plugged into the USB. Often, say 150 times since I owned this garbage a** truck, CarPlay does not work, pixelates, buttons won’t work, can’t get back to a FORD screen. Removing the Apple device from the USB is pointless, it’s a wireless connection. The only way to do a fix is to pull off the road, turn the stupid truck on and off, and try to reconnect my device. It happened again this morning in TX. And again, the dealers here have horrible terrible ratings and I just don’t have 12 hours for a round trip drive to the dealer I trust, in Llano TX.
The other issue with dealers is they are supposed to provide me a vehicle to use while their “two day inspection” and then repairs occur, but they have no cars. FORD is failing me and I don’t think I’ll buy America again. This was my third lifetime attempt (57 yrs) to buy American. But why, our vehicles stink!!
