Some 2021-2023 F-150 vehicles equipped with an IPC with a 4.2 inch display and built with minor feature code HKRAB may experience a resetting of the trip odometer and MPG information after a key cycle. To confirm a vehicle is built with minor feature code HKRAB, review the build information by double-clicking the vehicle identification number (VIN) in the upper left corner in the Professional Technician System (PTS). This condition may be due to the software level of the IPC. To correct this condition, reprogram the IPC to the latest software level using the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS). Perform a brief road test after the software update to confirm the concern is no longer present. If the concern is still present, replace the IPC.
