2022 Ford F-150
TSB Document:
Affected Component: EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL
- Summary
- Some 2021-2022 F-150 vehicles equipped with a B And O audio system may exhibit the rear sliding window glass rattling when in the open position music is playing. This may be due to a low amount of tension provided by the rear window glass sliding rail and/or the defroster wire vibrating between the two panes of glass. This condition does not affect vehicle durability and no additional diagnosis or service is required for this condition at this time. Inform customers that they can continue to drive the vehicle and engineering is currently working on a solution for this condition that is expected in March 2022. Replacement of the rear sliding window assembly will not resolve this condition. Monitor OASIS for additional information and schedule service appointments for customers once the repair becomes available.
